EU perfume label planning belongs at the start of packaging design. The Responsible Person and safety assessor need the actual formula and market plan before mandatory text can be finalized.
Plan space for product function where not obvious, nominal content, durability or period information as applicable, precautions, batch reference, Responsible Person details, country of origin for imported products and ingredients. Language requirements depend on the Member State and type of information.
Fragrance allergen disclosure must follow the rules applicable to the launch timing and product. Because requirements evolve, do not rely on an old carton or generic ingredient list. Freeze artwork only after regulatory review of the final formula.
