Good perfume bottle suppliers sell a working packaging system, not just attractive glass. The bottle must match the pump, gasket, collar, cap, decoration process, filling equipment and transport carton. A catalogue photo cannot prove any of those relationships.
Request the bottle drawing, nominal and brimful capacity, neck finish, weight tolerance, decoration area and packing method. For the pump, obtain the neck specification, crimp or screw dimensions, dosage, gasket material and available dip-tube lengths. Confirm whether the cap fits over the exact pump and collar combination.
Ask whether the item is regularly stocked or made only against orders. A stock bottle with unreliable future availability can create the same repeat-order risk as a custom design.
Measure and assemble the actual components. Check glass defects, base stability, cap alignment, pump actuation and visible gaps. Fill several units with the intended perfume base and observe leakage, gasket interaction, spray quality and evaporation. A pump that works with water is not automatically suitable for an alcohol-based fragrance.
Decoration also changes the evaluation. Coating may reduce dimensional clearance, screen printing has registration tolerances, and foil or metallized parts can vary between batches. Approve a physical decorated sample under normal and strong light rather than relying only on a rendering.
When one perfume manufacturer sources the complete pack, ask it to issue one approved component specification. That creates a single reference for purchasing, line trials, inspection and future batches, while avoiding disputes between separate bottle, pump and decorator suppliers.
