Perfume batch consistency comes from controlling references and process variables, not expecting raw materials to have no natural variation.
Use approved fragrance and formula revisions, identified material lots, controlled weighing and defined mixing, resting and filtration steps. Compare appearance and odor against a retained reference under consistent conditions. Packaging consistency also requires component drawings, decoration standards and assembly settings.
Archive the approved sample, formula revision, artwork, component specifications and production record. Review proposed supplier or material changes before purchasing. When a complaint occurs, batch and component traceability should make it possible to narrow the investigation rather than relying on memory.
