How Perfume Concentration Affects Cost, Clarity and Performance

By AROMAMATRIX Project Team

Fragrance samples and raw materials used during scent development, relevant to perfume concentration and cost

Perfume concentration affects cost because it changes fragrance concentrate usage, but the relationship is not a simple percentage multiplier.

The concentrate itself varies greatly by formula. Raising dosage may also require solubility review, filtration changes, color evaluation or reformulation. Bottle and carton costs remain largely unchanged, so packaging-heavy projects may show a smaller unit-price difference than expected.

Compare like with like

Request quotations for the same formula, fill size, quantity and packaging at defined dosages. Evaluate wear, clarity and spray behavior at each level. Do not select EDP or extrait only for a stronger marketing term; choose the concentration that delivers the intended experience and can be produced consistently.
