How to Prevent Perfume Bottle Leakage in Production and Shipping

By AROMAMATRIX Project Team

Close inspection of perfume packaging and finished-product quality, relevant to prevent perfume bottle leakage

Preventing perfume bottle leakage requires control of the bottle neck, pump or closure, gasket, assembly settings, liquid and transport conditions.

Inspect neck dimensions and damage before filling. Match the closure specification, set crimp or torque with trial units, and use the correct dip-tube length. Test representative bottles upright, inverted and on their side; observe evaporation and residue after temperature exposure appropriate to the project.

Leakage may appear only after decoration, cap assembly or shipping vibration. Test the finished pack, not an isolated plain bottle. Record component lots and machine settings so failures can be traced and repeat orders can use proven conditions.
