Perfume Manufacturing Process: From Compounding to Boxing

The perfume manufacturing process begins before liquid enters a tank. Formula, components, artwork and acceptance criteria must be approved first; otherwise production only makes unresolved decisions harder to change.

1. Development: confirm fragrance direction, concentration and product format.
2. Engineering: approve bottle, closure, decoration, carton and compatibility.
3. Purchasing: order materials against controlled specifications and inspect receipt.
4. Compounding: identify materials, weigh, mix and complete the defined resting or filtration steps.
5. Filling and assembly: fill, close, code, decorate or label, box and pack.
6. Release: inspect the liquid, function, appearance, quantities and records.

A pre-production sample connects the separate approvals into one finished unit. Repeat orders should reference the same formula revision, component specifications, artwork and approved sample.
